Hunting will be by permission only during the CT Private Land Season (starts Sept 15).  Bowhunters who have passed a CT Bowhunting Safety course may apply by lottery (only 12 permits will be issued).  Applications may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office, and must be completed and received by May 31.  The lottery drawing will be held by July 1, and applicants do not have to be present to win.

Additional rules and regulations apply, and are included with the application form.  Applicants winning the lottery must also pass a qualifications test administered by the Town to prove minimum competency with a compound bow (no crossbows or firearms allowed).

Sunday hunting will not be permitted, and Saturday hunting will end at 10:00 am.
