The Town of Ledyard completed a State of Connecticut mandated revaluation (Sec. 12-55 of the Connecticut General Statutes) for October 1, 2015 of all parcels in the Town. The Town contracted with PBS Systems LLC to start field inspections June 1, 2014. PBS spent about one year reviewing parcels around the Town. PBS documented newly constructed structures not valued in the Town’s Assessment Valuation Program. The Assessor’s office analyzed 2 years of market sales from around the Town. The Assessor used that sales data to create new valuations for all the parcels within the Town of Ledyard. The process was completed for the October 1, 2015 grand list (The Grand List is the aggregate valuation of taxable property with a given town.).
