Please if you lose power do not call 9-1-1 or the Routine Dispatch number to report loss of power. Instead please contact CL+P using the resources listed below.
Please use 9-1-1 to report, fires, hazards, accidents, and medicals or if you have an immediate emergency that requires assistance now. People are reminded to stay away from downed power lines and it is proper to call 9-1-1 to report them.
Outages can be report by or information obtained at:
o Calling CL&P at 800-286-2000 to report an outage or speak to a customer service representative.
o Text the word "outage," followed by a space and your zip code, to 24612.
