[ARCHIVED] Eastern Connecticut Conservation District: Low Impact Development Workshop

As a continuing part of the Poquetanuck Cove Conservation Action Plan initiative, the Eastern Connecticut Conservation District, in partnership with the Towns of Ledyard and Preston, will be featuring a workshop on Low Impact Development on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Ledyard Town Hall Annex Building, 741 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT.

Dr. Mike Dietz, the Connecticut Coordinator for the Nonpoint Education for Municipal Officials program will overview what Low Impact Development means, how it works and why thinking differently about storm water management is more important now than ever. Low impact development does not mean NO development, just smart development.

This is a free workshop, but space is limited. Please contact Jean Pillo at 860-928-4948 ex 605 or email Jean.Pillo@ConserveCT.org to reserve your place at this workshop.
